MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES

A community shaped by the mercy and grace of Christ is marked by love and service to each other. After making Beckwith Hills Church your church home and being intentional about growing roots, bearing fruit is the natural outcome. No matter your gifting or schedule, there are many ways to serve at Beckwith Hills Church!

HOSPITALITY: These volunteers provide hospitality to all who attend worship and other events. They also help to make our worship services run smoothly by answering questions about our church, helping people find seats, attend to the coffee station and assisting guests as needed. This opportunity serves to set a warm and welcoming tone for who come on our campus for worship or any event.
GREETERS: Welcome members and visitors as they arrive. COFFEE PREP: Brew and serve refreshments for fellowship time. BUILDING SECURITY: Keep everyone safe during weekly worship and other events. TRANSPORATION: Help anyone in need of a ride get to and from services and events. EVENT COORDINATORS: Manage building setup and teardown for worship.
WORSHIP & MUSIC: Use your creative talents to lead our congregation in praise and honor God.
VOCALISTS/SINGERS: Join our weekly worship team or seasonal choir. INSTRUMENTALISTS: Share your musical gifts during Sunday services. VISUAL ARTS: Enhance our space with seasonal and liturgical art. SCRIPTURE READERS:Read the word of God during live worship.
TECHNOLOGY: Support our services behind the scenes and help others master digital tools.
AUDIO TECH: Manage soundboard for in-person and streamed services. PROJECTION: Run lyrics, scriptures, and videos on the main screens. LIVESTREAM: Operate cameras to connect with our online community. MENTORS: mentor with older members and guests on how to navigate and connect modern devices. WEBSITE & SOCIAL MEDIA: assist the staff and volunteers with our online presence using various social media & website opportunities.
CHILDREN & YOUTH Help the next generation discover just how much Jesus loves them.
NURSERY: Provide a safe, loving space for our littlest ones. STORY TIME: a great place to tech our youngest members & guests about Jesus through story and activities. YOUTH GROUP: Mentor middle and high school students in faith.
Safety First: Note that background checks are required when serving children & youth.
MISSIONS & OUTREACH Extend the love of Christ beyond our walls and into the global community.
OUTREACH: Plan and/or volunter at local events that we host throughout the year for the Beckwith Hills neighborhood. MISSIONS: Coordinate resources and prayer for our global partners
FACILITIES & MAINTENANCE Keep our church building and community playground safe, beautiful, and fully functional for ministry.
HANDYMAN TASKS: Use your skills to swing a hammer or fix equipment. PAINTING & DECOR: Help freshen up classrooms and common spaces. BUILDING UPDATES: Join volunteers for larger projects. FLEXIBLE ROLES: Opportunities are available for all skill levels.
